Since the war in Syria started, powerful countries that are governing our world appear as if  they are trying their best to help the victims of these conflicts: refugees, hungry children… well, I guess we know that such countries have the ability to do more than that: to make an end to this terrible sufferance, instead of solving superficial problems…

In medicine, an expert physician does not work on relieving pains of his sick, he actually tries to treat their illness directly… because focusing on treating syndromes of the disease instead of the disease itself won’t stop it from spreading all over the body and causing more and more problems, that we will have to treat as well at some point… But it will be smarter if we cure the illness as long as we know what is its right remedy, and we have this remedy.

So the point is, as long as we are working on fixing consequences of war, nothing will ever come to an end… and there will always be other problems that will appear day after day. However, if we learn how to uproot the initial crisis, no more problems will arise.

If they are really caring about those victims, and want to seriously help them, then they can do much more than playing the roles of heroes of this old drama that we are watching every time a similar problem happens. But if those countries took part in starting this war, and feeding it, then we can understand why they have to show off their acting skills…

I am still remembering that scene that has been displayed on TV of those two Syrian siblings sitting on that cold floor, searching for some bread’ crumb, with their little bare hands. Needless to talk about other worse scenes of torn dead bodies of  thousands of children, women, grey bearded men wandering around… and all those innocents who did absolutely nothing wrong, except being in the wrong place, at the wrong time…

I am wondering, are those who are doing nothing to stop such crimes, enjoying seeing such things happen? Do not they feel guilty every time they comeback home and hug their children, while depriving millions of other kids of a similar moment?! Have they ever thought how a 5 years old child is feeling when seeing his mother’s dead body lying near him, and he just cannot bring her back to life no matter how long he will scream?… Will that child really feel better as soon as they bring him a piece of bread? Nothing is really making any sense anymore in his little eyes…

I really wish that those people think for once about everything they did or did not, and that made such a thing happen, I really wish they stand up once face to face to their humanity and their conscience, if they have one, and turn out to be sincere…

If they are really considering themselves as those fighters for freedom and human rights all over the world, then they should prove it by once by finding solutions to current events not only in Syria, but also in Gaza and everywhere else where conflicts are taking place and large number of people are suffering, where people are waking up every morning with deep fear from other hardship that they may face and may destroy their lives and that of their families…

If children tears are precious to them as they pretend, then they should think about all those children whose nights are no more filled with dreams…

For once, our advice to them is to be truthful to themselves and do what they really pretend they are fighting for. Kybosh the real problem instead of trying to eliminate the secondary ones, so that people may no more suffer.
